           Today, it is the world's largest association of technical professionals with more than 420,000 members in over 160 countries around the world. Its objectives are the educational and technical advancement of electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering and allied disciplines.

             IEEE is also provided a great platform to the students to enhance their technical and professional skills by participating in various conferences, talks, competitions etc. over the world. The primary purpose of IEEE Student Branch is to promote research among the students and provide a platform to showcase and improve their interests and talents.
